A hard rock band travels to the tiny and remote town of Grand Guignol to perform. Peopled by hicks, rubes, werewolves, murderous dwarves, sex perverts, and Hitler, the town is a strange place but that doesn't stop the band's lead singer from falling in love with a local girl named Cassie. After Nazi sex perverts kill the band to satisfy their lusts, Cassie calls the rockers back from the grave to save her, the town, and maybe the world.
E.J. Curse music is best known for his years as lead vocalist for Warlock and Bass Player for Doro Pesch in the late '80s he later pursued a solo career.
Originally Krishna Shah meant for this movie to be about 20 minutes long and solely used as the feature movie in American Drive-In. At some point during production, the decision was made to invest a little bit more money and come out with two full length feature films instead of just one.
Of course this movie was horrible but as a young 15 year old who could pass up on the great cover art! And any thing with Zombies and Hard Rock music has to be a win. Unfortunately the music was more pop then Metal total bummer. If you have never seen this '80's cheese fest its worth a look only if you like the simple times of Zombie movies from the '80's. Check out the trailer and don't miss the great song "Na Na Na" right after.
Paul Sabu - Cassie's Song
I saw this one! Such a weird mish-mosh of things in it and the "hard rock" angle make it so supremely awesomely cheezy.
