New Funko Pops!

Funko just announced a few cool items. Still, not a huge collector of Funko but the McDonalds figures look fun.  And as of writing this, the Funko web site is old out!

I guess Chucky in a can is some type of mystery package and already I'm not sold on the look. But fest your eyes below!!

Look at that Minnie and Mickey!! Now, these just might find its way into the Man Cave! And it also looks like Hocus Pocus will get another run this year although they seem to have sold out as well.

October 24 Casper will finally be immortalized in plastic! Now this one might have to sit in the Man Cave for sure!

And a new wave of Simpson's Tree House of Horror is on its way.

So are you looking to pick any of these up? Do you collect Funko? Let me know in the comments.

Grab them while you can I will change them back over to not downloadable once Halloween is over. Also here are a few others for your enjoyment.

Haunted Mansion Rain And Thunder

I feel like this might be cheating a bit but I actually like these sound effect loops and why not have one playing in the background while cleaning the house or reading a good book? We all love the sounds from Disneys Haunted Mansion so this is the perfect mood-setter. In fact, let it run in the background while checking out the other foolish mortals counting down to Halloween HERE.

Also, an added bonus here is an official Haunted Mansion Wallpaper for your Computer.

Synopsis:
In a small town named Sleepy Hollow, a gangly schoolteacher named Ichabod Crane comes to town. Despite his unattractive appearance, he quickly proves to be a ladies man who charms the local beauty, much to the local tough, Brom Bones', displeasure. A subtle rivalry erupts, only to have Crane continually gaining the upper hand. The situation changes when Brom learns of Crane's superstitions and exploits them as he musically tells the legend of the fearsome Headless Horseman to frighten the teacher. That night, Crane's lonely night ride home becomes more lively than he ever imagined as the Horseman appears to chase him.

Growing up we had a hand full of Halloween specials to choose from of course It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Garfield's Halloween, and Disney's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I always loved this story and in fact, some form of Sleepy Hollow is always part of my October routine.

Did you know The Headless Horseman is often cited as being, along with The Horned King in The Black Cauldron and Chernabog in Fantasia, as one of the scariest villains in the Disney Universe? Rumor is Disney still receives complaints from parents about the character frightening their children.
So here you go in its 1994 VHS glory (commercials and all) Disneys The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

If you would like to download this title click here. If you would like to check out The Legend of Sleepy Hollow starring Dick Butkus and Jeff Goldblum Click Here. Don't forget to check out the other Trick Or Treaters Counting Down to Halloween.

Best Pick Up week this year!!

Some pretty darn good scores this week. First, our second-hand store ran a VHS sale of 5 for a dollar so you know this goofball picked up a few of those. Also picked up about 20 kid books for our Little Free Library just to keep things fresh. They sell most of their kid books for a dime and I focused in on the 1/2 price books just so I could make my dollar stretch.

I can never pass up on Disney classic TV shows that you can no longer watch and that have never been on DVD yet. We already watched Aladdin and loved it. The value for Team Genie is around 4 to 5 bucks. Sing along Songs are always fun and it worth $10. Timon & Pumbaa will be watched soon and could fetch anywhere from $4 to $50 on Ebay so not a bad score there.

13 Nights of Halloween Program Guide.

I like that they are adding in 2 new movies to the mix with PeraNorman and Dark Shadows. But what is with the Hunger Games? Not sure how that fits in. And if you missed Toy Story of Terror last year make sure to catch that one.

Phineas and Ferb to see Shaun and Ed This Halloween
