High Ho High Ho its off to camp I go!

OK gang so I'm about to embark on a new journey this weekend. Heading off to Horizon  disabilities camp. I was a camp counselor for over 20 years for MDA. After kids I put it on the back burn. Well this year its time to dust off the camp shoes and walk again. Its only a weekend but its to prove to myself I can still do this! And get myself ready for a full week next year. I will do my best to tweet out pictures. Wish me luck!

From the producers of "The Orphanage" comes "Crawl to Me". A young couple moves into an isolated rural house with their baby and encounter an evil in their basement that forces them to question their relationship, faith and existence. Date not yet determined.

Remembering Jerry G Bishop

Chicago radio and TV legend and creator of the original "Svengoolie," Jerry G. Bishop, has died. He was 77.

Media critic Robert Feder confirmed the news that Bishop passed away Sunday.

Rich Koz, Bishop's protégé and current Svengoolie wrote "I owe everything to him," tweeting Tuesday "The passing of the original Sven- my mentor and friend Jerry G. Bishop-just reminds me of his great heart and talent. Love you,Jerry."

The Lawndale native and Columbia College grad was a star of morning radio during "the golden era of Top 40 radio in the ’60s," Feder reports. In 1970, Bishop introduced the Svengoolie character as the voice-over host of "Screaming Yellow Theater."

Pit violinist Claudin hopelessly loves rising operatic soprano Christine Dubois (as do baritone Anatole and police inspector Raoul) and secretly aids her career. But Claudin loses both his touch and his job, murders a rascally music publisher in a fit of madness, and has his face etched with acid. Soon, mysterious crimes plague the Paris Opera House, blamed on a legendary "phantom" whom none can find in the mazes and catacombs. But both of Christine's lovers have plans to ferret him out.

So enough of about that if you missed it last week Sven debuted his new Coffin and its is really cool! You need to check out Dave's article where he dives in to every detail. Amazing! In fact I will get to watch it real soon. So what do you guys think?
