Creepmas Dinner

Well, kids, the time has come Creepmas has drawn to a close time to prep for tonights Creepmas Dinner. You know Uncle Bobby is here to save the day with some truly creepy dinner recipes just for you kids. And as always Merry Creepmas!

First up this wonderful little bell-shaped salad. Followed by a wonderful Tuna Tree.

Time for the main course:

Take your pick from this wonderful-looking Bologna in Jello to this Monterey Souffle Salad because nothing is better than Fish, Gelatin and Citrus for Creepmas. But seriously would somebody please make me this cute Meatloaf Igloo?

Of course, there is nothing like a good dessert to end a wonderful holiday meal how about...

Hmm well, a banana candle sounds like fun until you learn the "white" goo slowing dripping down its long shaft is actually Mayonnaise 🤢 like who thought that pineapple, banana, cherry, and mayo would taste good? And I'm sure back in the early 1800s this was a mans way of sexting!! Anyway, kids thanks for stopping by for dinner. I sure hope you enjoyed Creepmas this year although this is not quite the end for me I have a few movies to review yet. And don't forget to check out the others spreading Creepmas Cheer over at Creepmas.com

A way-out adventure!

Ok time to dig back into the late Seventies archives! I swear growing up I was the only one in my group of friends that ever watched this. I was always grateful that dad was willing to buy a blank VHS Tape for me to tape this special. It was not until I had kids that I thought about this one and it took a long time to track it down once again.

A Cosmic Christmas came out of the little Canadian animation company, Nelvana. Cosmic Christmas was an animated film in which a town rediscovers the real spirit of Christmas, thanks to three visitors from outer space and a little boy named Peter. Commercialism and greed seem to contradict the meaning of Christmas, and when Peter's pet goose is kidnapped, things look even worse. An exciting rescue results in a new sense of caring and sharing.

Of course, this was meant to tie into the Star Wars craze and the new found love for Sci-Fi. I was so happy to revisit this not that long ago and for me, it still holds up and is defiantly something added to your Creepmas watch list. Its a very bizarre story and its odd animation make this a classic that should have found its way to a DVD but sadly has gone out of print. Thanks to the powers of YouTube you can watch it here.

Of course, Nelvana had a slew of hits you may remember like The Care Bears Movie, Strawberry Short Cake, and The Wild Puffalumps. So let me know in the comments if you remember watching this special. And if not let me know what you think of it when your done watching.

The Creepmas Family Card

Ah, the art of the holiday card...

Yeah um, no clue!

Yeah, this sum's up Christmas Cards when you get older.

This was rather normal in the Seventy's but still fun to post.

I actually love this family for having fun with it!

Hey, they felt the Holiday Spirit!

Mom's come up with the strangest ideas.

This is cleaver!

I don't know about you but I would be ok getting a half-naked photo of my neighbors.

Yeah, I love this! This would be something my family would do for sure!!

Another great one! If you can not have fun then why bother!!

Brothers wonder which one mom is proud of.

Looks the inspiration to the Human Centapiead movie.

It's a Blues Creepmas

Ok like I said last week will try to keep it less dark this week but still, the Blues and Jazz Christmas music plays very nicely for Creepmas.

I know not creepy but I love the sound.

Ok, the man who gave us School Of Rock is singing this sad diddy with Miles Davis. The homemade video I found on YouTube is creepy as where the song is not, in fact, its pretty fun for a depression era song.

Hey, we need one drinking song, right?

And if you're not drinking for Creepmas and its legal in your state then lite up and mellow out to Free Design's Christmas song.

I just love this song so let's end this week on a fun not with Back Door Santa.

Creepmas Sunday Funnies

Sorry, gang, I went M.I.A. the past few days I promise I will get caught up this week in the meantime enjoy some Creepmas cheer.

Throw Back Thursday #Creepmas style.

Man has the big guy changed over the years thanks to Coke Cola for fixing what had to be nightmare fuel for children growing up! Here is a look at some of the craziest looking Santa's.

Ok, Really Santa your face is melting off you really need to see a doctor stat!

Santa Smells like Beer and Cheese

Honestly what the F#$K? Is that a brown paper bag on his head painted red?

Hmm Yeah Ok

This has to be on the poster for Creepmas!!

Santa is old and tired kid

The girls face says it all!

This poor boy if you only knew how much you are going to get picked on.

No really kid RUN!!

That time when Bozo took a side job.

Ok, your turn caption this one...

Comic Strip comes to life for Creepmas

Time to warm the chestnuts by the fire grab some eggnog and fire up your favorite streaming service to check out one of the oddest and creepiest Christmas Specials of all time. The family is decorating their tree when Daddy notices the star his father made is missing. When Billy asks Mommy why this made Daddy sad, she tells him it's because the star was made by his father, their Granddad, who is in Heaven. Jeffy then has a vivid dream about Santa and asks him in the dream to bring Granddad home from Heaven for Christmas to make Daddy happy again.

When Billy learns that Jeffy thinks this really will happen, he is afraid that Jeffy's Christmas will be ruined, since Santa can't do that. However, Jeffy doesn't understand, for when he is at a department store meeting Santa, he makes this same request. The store Santa, trying to dissuade Jeffy is in his own, says that greedy children get nothing, to which Jeffy replies he wants nothing else if his family is reunited with Granddad, making the store Santa shake his head, not sure of what else to say. Mommy tries to explain why it's not possible to Jeffy after Dolly tells her what Jeffy thinks, but he gets upset and doesn't want to hear it. That night, he gets a visit from Santa, who explains there are some things that cannot be asked for, but to show that he meant well, he reunites Jeffy with Granddad.

So watch the very strange A Family Circus Christmas from 1979 with a box of tissue and a little extra something in the eggnog because the seventies were very different. This special gave me nightmares as a child I just did not know what to think.
