And they also made shows about established characters suddenly with children, or sometimes as children, such as Muppet Babies and The Flintstone Kids. Now, all of those surely have at least someone …

Halloween Streams!!

Oh, how I love to watch free movie's on my Roku, and thanks to Vudu and their free movie selection there is something for everyone to get into the Autumn spirit.

First up and this was a complete shock to me

That right the Sam Rami flick that started it all for me in the early days of VHS is streaming with adds for those of you that have not seen this gem yet! The story goes a little something like this, In 1979, a group of college students who, during a weekend getaway, find a Sumerian Book of the Dead in an old wilderness cabin they've rented. When they unwittingly unleash evil spirits and demons while reading incantations from the book, that's when the real havoc begins. As each of the kids, one by one, are possessed by the demons they've let loose, body parts and bodily fluids go a-flying until only one young man is left to face down THE EVIL DEAD.
Next up Harry Potter sort of...

Now I have not seen this yet but it has crept closer to the top of my long list of mus…

If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd

Director: Stephen Kijak

Writer: Stephen Kijak

Ronnie Van Zant
Gary Rossington Johnny Van Zant

Summary: This authorized documentary will explore the music and backstory of the legendary American band. With the songs from the first six Skynyrd albums driving the narration, the film focuses on the story of frontman Ronnie Van Zant - his upbringing, his roots, his work ethic and his contradictory persona as both as a mythic Southern rock poet and notorious boozed-up brawler, as well as the relationships between his friends and fellow founding members Gary Rossington and Allen Collins, along with later bandmates Ed King and Artimus Pyle.

Come on we all yell "Free Bird" at concerts everywhere we go admit it! Well, thanks to Stephen Kijak's hard-hitting journey with southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd a truly kick-ass story unfolds in front of you.…

I'm not a Tourists

Just saying...

Halloween Costume time!

You know have been stalking the Halloween stores already and if not you know you have been googling costumes I mean come on Halloween is 43 days away! So here are the top five I have seen so far!

Number 5 Sandy

I guess in my heart we should all go as Oliva-Newton John just to show support as she battles cancer for the third time in her life.

Number 4 Rockford Peach

I don't know I just think this is cute would love it if my girls would go as Rockford Peaches.

Number 3 He-Man

I mean come on look at the wig! Pure gold.
Number 2 Johnny
Man, I love Johnny Bravo and to have fake buff muscles for a day sign me up.

And Number 1 Cobra Kia

Yeah, this is cool! So glad to see the classic looks coming back as we get away from the whole sexy look and by god may the Emoji trend be gone forever!

Diamond Boy (Official Music Video)

Well, the band has never really made a good video (Fly High Michael) but the song still rocks the house. Still shocked at how well the album is selling!

Like Pop, Like Son

Did you know after 58 years of Popeye and Bluto fighting over Olive Oyl, they've all decided to finally settle down and start families. Popeye and Olive got married and had a son who hates spinach. Bluto also got married and had a son who's a bully to Popeye's kid. Most do not remember this 1987 Saturday morning show that only lasted one year but on September 29th I will be covering the Halloween themed episode There Goes The Neighborhood as part of the Popeye Blogathon!
Head on over to Movie Movie Blog Blog to sign up for this fun little blog hop or just check out those of us that are taking part.

I have also joined the fun covering Monkey Shine's for The 2nd Annual Disability in Film Blogothon this month and next month I will be reviewing Rock Hudson in Avalanche. Not to mention the Countdown to Halloween all October. If you would like to sign up for any of the blog hops click on the banner in the side column.

Warning Proud Dad moment

I know I know it is only one game but this dad watched hard work really pay off last night. The TCA Saints kicked off there 2018 season last night winning big in there first game 16-8. And to watch my daughter who was not feeling 100% rack up the minutes blocked shots, had clean passes, and scored on her first shot of the year! Her determination sense last year has really paid off she practiced all spring and summer long from shooting hoops in the driveway to a few summer camps her hard work really paid off.

The simple fact that she was proud to be named a started showed and her leadership is strong these girls are going to be tough to beat. A few of them including Lainey started playing last year as 4th graders on the 5th-grade team and now they are the 5th graders and they are ready to rock. So anyway to embarrass her more here is that shot! Good luck my Lainey Lou I'm sure this is the first of many this year!

Nice shot #51

Magic Mummy

Man, I can not help fighting these Halloween feels! The weather is the perfect hint of chill to get you in the mood. So why not share A Van Beuren short film featuring Tom and Jerry in which the duo are a pair of policemen working the graveyard shift who are sent to investigate a stolen mummy. Their search leads them into an underground world full of strange characters.

The music features renditions of "The Cop on the Beat The Man in the Moon and Me" and "Sing (It's Good For You)".Margie Hines provides the voice of the singing mummy.
