Zombies Vs Strippers Oh My Here We Go!

Zombies Vs Strippers 2012 | Color | 75 Minutes | Widescreen | R | Horror | Dolby Digital | Full Moon Horror
Director: Alex Nicolaou

Writers: Alex Nicolaou, Kent Roudebush

Stars: Circus-Szalewski, Eve Mauro and Victoria Levine

ZvA marks the directorial debut for Alex Nicolaou. The Tough Titty is a strip club that’s seen better days. But tonight it’s gonna see a whole lot worse. Spider has been losing money on his business for years. Now it’s finally getting the traffic he’s always wanted… unfortunately, most of his patrons are undead. With a sudden outbreak of the zombie virus, Vanilla, Bambi, and Sugar Hills deal with the disaster the way only a stripper can.

I'm going to review this movie a little bit different:

Here are 5 bad things about this film

1) The Set. All thou a step up for full moon it looks more like an Ikea then a Strip Club.
2) The soundtrack -ugh-
3) Stripping - OK I'm no expert on the matter but Demi Moore did a better job acting like a stripper.
4) Hambo …

Weezie George is coming home.

The TV world has lost another great today. Sherman Hemsley born February 1,1938 has passed today in El Paso, Texas where he resides when not working. No immediate cause of death has been reported.

The Emmy and Golden Glove nominated actor was 74.

Famous for his role of George Jefferson from 1975-1985. But let us not forget some of his other notable TV shows. Who can forget Dinosaurs, The Love Boat, All in the Family, Amen and of course The Twilight Zone (1985). Hemsley has also entertained us on the big screen In Mr. Nanny or American Pie: Book of Love. And for the Horror fans the comedy/horror classic's Love at First Bite and Ghost Fever.

Catch up Time

So the past few weeks it's been time with the family and clearing off my Tivo. So with the heat index over 100 all summer, I have had some time to catch up. So here are a few quick-hit reviews of the movies that I have watched the past few days.

1973 | PG | Horror | Universal

College student David (Face from the A-Team) is looking for extra cash. So he is hired by Dr. Stoner (Gunsmoke/Bonanza) as a lab assistant for his research and experiments on well duh Snakes. Romance is also in the air for David as he falls for the crazy Doc's foxy daughter Kristina (Logan's Run). Dr. Stoner starts to shot up David with a secretly brewed up serum that can transform any man into a King Cobra!

The cast in this movie works pretty well together and they did use real snakes. But the 1970's look and feel just does not carry over as well. The music was flat and the special effects just ok. The movie does fit in well with the horror host crowd as I was lucky enough to watch Svengoo…

Luther Heggs, a meek, timid typesetter for a smalltown newspaper, envisions himself in his daydreams as a reporter worthy of winning the love of Alma Parker. His chance comes when he writes an article on the local "haunted house," where a gruesome murder and suicide took place 20 years earlier. The newspaper piece creates such a stir that Luther's editor, George Beckett, orders him to spend a night in the old house and do a followup story. During the long vigil, the terrified Luther discovers a hidden staircase, a bloodstained organ that plays by itself, and a portrait dripping blood. When his story is published, Luther is given a town picnic in honor of his courage. Nick Simmons, a descendant of the murdered couple and the current owner of the old house, sues Lut…

James Best is back in...

Return Of The Killer Shrews (2012)

A TV Reality Show hires Captain Thorne Sherman (James Best) and his boat to cargo supplies to the deserted offshore island they’re using as a filming location. Thorne would have refused the job because he’s been to that island before and stills sees it in his nightmares. Unfortunately, as the boat departs, Thorne is too hungover to realize where they’re going and his first mate Rook (Rick Hurst) needs the money. So they sail — to a place Thorne Sherman never wanted to see again as long as he lived: the island of the Killer Shrews.

As the TV crew and two-fisted animal expert Johnny Reno (John Schneider) shoot their reality show, some of the cast and crew go missing, attacked and eaten in a bloody feeding frenzy by strange creatures. But tough as nails Producer Stella, sleazy Director Willard and manipulative Writer Lenora couldn’t care less about the human cost. They are ruthlessly focused on getting their show in the can, regardless of the body coun…

As Abraham Lincoln labors over the Gettysburg address, the importance of which he is fully aware, he learns that a menace from his past has returned, threatening to tear the already fractured nation to pieces. He must journey behind enemy lines to face a foe far more fearsome than the Confederate army: the walking dead.

OK, I'm  just going to say it! From beginning  to end this is a fantastic movie! Not what I was expecting at all. This movie has more going for it than not. The story was strong the directing was good and the acting was brilliant (more on that in a minute).

Now this movie does have some weak spots but for a low budget if you relax and get wrapped into this movie it does not matter. So on to  the weak,…

Francis in the Haunted House is a 1956 black-and-white comedy film, the last in the Francis the Talking Mule series, but without the talents of previous director Arthur Lubin, human star Donald O'Connor and Francis' best-known voice Chill Wills. In this film, Francis witnesses a murder and befriends David Prescot, played by Mickey Rooney who may be next in line. Francis explains that he once lived on the farm of Prescott's uncle and is protecting his nephew out of respect for the uncle. We have flying Monkeys!

Oz: The Great and Powerful from Disney is a prequel to Dorothy and Toto's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The film stars James Franco in the role of Oz on his journey to become the ruler of the wondrous world. The trailer is filled with glorious special effects. But I'm not to sure at this point I was looking forward to it. But Sam Rami has yet to do me wrong.

Oz: The Great and Powerful will be in theaters on March 8, 2013.

Here is the poster one more time as well.
