5 for Free

This week how about the Top Five Flicks you can watch for free on Vudu? Starting off number 5...

Showgirls

That's right how about a little seduction, passion and power struggles unfold as the creators of BASIC INSTINCT blow the lid off the seemingly glamorous world of Las Vegas show dancing in this controversial film that stars Elizabeth Berkley.

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

It's not easy being a drag queen in this 1994 comedy. Resplendent in flamboyant ball gowns, looking down over the vast red Australian desert: for three showgirls, Tick, Adam, and Ralph, it was the dream of a lifetime, a four-week cabaret engagement in Alice Springs. The problem is simply getting there intact, along with their bus Priscilla.

Final Cut

Robin Williams and Mira Sorvino star in this 2004 thriller with acclaimed actor Jim Caviezel in this startling look at the dark side of modern technology. In the not-too-distant future, implanted microchips record every single moment of a person's life. It's up to a "cutter" like Alan (Williams) to edit the deceased's lifetime into a final memorial film. But after he views a terrible secret, Alan finds his own life in jeopardy in this mind-blowing sci-fi thriller packed with shocking twists and turns.

Saved!

This 2004 comedy starring "Good girl" Mandy Moore as Mary and her domineering best friend, Hilary Faye, together they are starting their senior year at the top of the social food chain at American Eagle Christian High School - that is until Mary's boyfriend tells her he thinks he might be gay.

And of course the Horror sequel from 2003,

Jeepers Creepers 2

The Creeper returns to feast on a group of high-school varsity athletes and cheerleaders stranded on a broken-down bus next to a remote rural highway.

Not a bad little line up of free movies! Let me know if you plan on watching any of these this month.

  1. The only one of these that I've seen is "Priscilla" and I highly recommend it! Especially for free -- "can't beat the price!"
