In Honor Of Steve Clark

Let's kick off the new year with one of my all-time favorite bands Def Leppard. This time around they have covered Depeche Mode', Personal Jesus for a new Greatest Hit's Album that came out for Christmas last year.

And in Honor of  Steve Clark guitarist with Def Leppard, who on January 8th, 1997 was found dead at his Chelsea flat by his girlfriend, after a night of heavy alcohol consumption combined with prescription drugs. The autopsy revealed he had died from an overdose of codeine and had Valium, morphine and a blood alcohol level of .30, three times the British legal driving limit. In 2007 Clark was ranked No.11 on Classic Rock Magazine's "100 Wildest Guitar Heroes".

  1. I was a senior in high school when he died - doesn't seem like that long ago! And funny that Vivian Campbell still seems like the "new guy" in the band! They'll always be my favorite band.

    1. High School would not have been the same without Def Leppard! And has much as I like Clark, Vivian has done a good job stepping in. Plus I love his hair.
