Spider-Man Homecoming
2017 | Color | 2 Hr 13 Min | Action | PG-13 | Marvel

Director: Jon Watts

Writers:
Jonathan Goldstein
John Francis Daley
Stars:
Tom Holland
Michael Keaton
Robert Downey Jr.
Marisa Tomei
Zendaya

Synopsis: A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine - distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man - but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Holy crap is Michael Keaton bad ass! I don't remember a time yet where the villain was cooler than the superhero but Keaton's Vulture is reason alone to watch Spiderman Homecoming. And who can not say Tom Holland is the Ultimate Spiderman? This kid nails the part with perfection. And with the movie helmed by indie director Jan Watt's this movie is one hell of a fun ride.

We all love Sam Rami and Toby Maguire's Spiderman and cannot take away and the simple fact that movie started this whole superhero movie trend we are on now. Still, Disney needed their Spiderman to fit in with their universe. I admit it when the word was out of a new movie with this Tom Holland kid I was underwhelmed how could they make another Spidey without Raimi or Maguire? How could it possibly be any good? Well, I Can say I love when Hollywood proves me wrong! This movie blows me away, I love that it does not bog you down with all the details that everybody watching should already know but instead giving you a story of Peter and his struggles with School, Home, and his new powers. I'm also pretty sure when I read the comic books Holland's voice is what I heard in my head this kid is spot on.

And the tie-in story of the Vulture is perfect and played perfectly by Keeton. Honestly, he now ranks in my top five for Villians in a superhero flick. He looks the part he plays the part and you really forget that this guy once's was Beetlejuice. He just looks and feels bad ass and not to give anything away I felt uncomfortable sitting in the car with Peter and Liz on our way to the Prom! That my friends was a powerful scene thanks to Keeton.

From Spiderman to the city and all the special effect's in between the movie looks amazing with a score that pumps your heart into overdrive Spiderman Homecoming is the real deal. I guess I should be a little more careful as Spidey is my favorite hero and probably the one I read the most outside of Captin America and Sgt Rock to not be so gitty but dam! Look even if you have seen Rami's Spiderman you need to give this one your time as this really could be the best of all the Spiderman movies and that is really saying a lot!

The movie does have it's weak spots like Marisa Tomei and Jon Favreau who kind of drove me crazy when they where on screen. Tomei just does not cut it as Aunt May and well Favreau seemed like he did not care more like he should have been behind the camera. And I'm going to say it and all those Disney fans will get mad but why the heck is Zendaya playing a major role in this franchise was this to sell tickets to the younger audience? Only time will tell with her charter.

With a heartwarming cast, a super fun storyline and one of the best villains I have seen in a superhero movie Spiderman spins a web that your willing to cling to!

And yeah Keatons charter has more balls then Thanos! (See More on Thanos here)

Sixth and Final Sharknado!

Be prepared, as the final Sharknado arrives on Sunday, August 19, just in time to finish out the summer movie season in style, bearing in mind that style doesn't always mean good. SyFy is going to celebrate the release of Sharknado 6 with an entire week of shark-themed programming during what they've appropriately dubbed Sharknado week. The programming will run from Sunday, August 12 through Sunday, August 19, culminating with the premiere of Sharknado 6. The lineup includes the recently released Deep Blue Sea 2, Nightmare Shark and 6-Headed Shark Attack. We can also expect a full six-movie Sharknado marathon leading up to the release of the new installment.

Sharknado 6 is directed by Anthony C. Ferrante from a script written by Thunder Levin and stars Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, and Ian Ziering. David Michael Latt produces.

Synopsis:

Our hero Fin (Ian Ziering) has battled sharks all over the globe, but in this last installment, he will tackle the final shark-tier — time travel. In the ending moments of SHARKNADO 5: GLOBAL SWARMING, Fin was seen wandering alone on Earth after it was destroyed. Now he must travel back in time to stop the Sharknado that started it all. Will Fin and the gang be able to set everything right and save the world once and for all? A production of The Asylum, SHARKNADO 6 is directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, based on an original screenplay by Scotty Mullen.

Where will you be, when it all ends?

Synapsis: As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Hulk Iron Man Dr. Strange

With all the hype and buzz on social media like "Heart Stopping" to "I almost forgot to breathe" I was one of those fanboys that could not wait to see Infinity War. I made sure to skip on all spoilers (and hope to not post any here) and the night before I did some homework by watching Spiderman: Homecoming just to be up to speed. Was I ready to witness a billion dollar cinema onslaught of superhero goodness dam right I was!

He is so bad ass.

The Russo brothers, where a couple of guys know best for Arrested Development and Community are taking the wheel of this jargonaut made me wonder could they handle it? Well, they did nice work with Captin America: Winter Soldier but fell just a tad short on Civil War and in a few ways, they did tie the movies together well but... well... I have to go with NO.

Now, this is the Spidy I have been waiting for!

With a confusing plot that is all over the place in Infinity War, it takes you down a rabbit hole that when you come out on the other side your left wondering what the hell did I just see! Sometimes having too much going on can really take you out of the story.

James Hetfield are you ok? You look under the weather

The movie looks great CGI has come a very long way at times you just could not tell reality vs virtual reality and that was a nice change. All the charters look better than before all though aging rapidly (let's face it Tony Stark is not aging well and Bruce Banner well man they better wrap up these movies fast before Medicare kicks in for most of the staff.) But here comes the first really big issue for me, I hate when things take you out of the movie! Yes, I go to a movie to immerse myself into another world or place for a few hours. All I ask is to be entertained in the end to forget about life for awhile. Unfortunately a few times in this movie I felt I was watching a crossover of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and even some Harry Potter mash-up and spit out this really killed the mood on so many levels. Boy did it get on my nerves.

Are we on Naboo?
Now before I go off on this flick lets talk Thanos for just a moment shall we? Was I suppose to love him or hate him? He comes off so bad ass and wimpy at the same time! Suck it up you meathead you want to kill off 1/2 the population of the universe but you want to mope around? Grrrr! Maybe I'm wrong but when I was a kid reading about Thanos he wanted to wipe out everybody and if you worked for him and failed he quickly did away with you. He was such a bad ass in the comic in the movie I just wanted to give the poor guy a hug.  I will say this he looks incredibly cool like a James Hetfield of Metalica on steroids cool!

As for the action-packed movie that so many people talked about I have a question for you, did we see the same movie? The pace was so far off and up and down for me. The Russo brothers would give you a bit of action then long winded filler story followed by some action and well you get my point its a Star Wars movie pace in a Super Hero world. Not all is lost really its still a good movie but is it worth all the hype? Wait I got it! These movies are gaining popularity after 19 movies and 10 years those 8-year-old's that watched Iron Man is now 18 and cannot wait for these flicks and those that where say 18 are now 28 and bringing there kids its the only way I can explain why this movie has made so much money.

If you are not a comic book fan but need to see this year's big blockbuster do some homework first. Do not make the mistake of skipping the last Thor and Black Panther movies otherwise you might be confused like I was and maybe that is why I found myself not into Infinity War. In the end, my mind is torn I want to love this movie  I did enjoy myself so I will give the Thanos...

So honestly what did you think? Comment below don't be shy to let me know how wrong I am.

Overkill's The Walking Dead

So I'm beyond burned out on the Walking Dead but when the trainer dropped for Overkill's The Walking Dead my jaw dropped. The graphics look so clean and real that I almost can not wait for this game. Check it out...

OVERKILL's The Walking Dead is set in a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. where up to four players try to survive and fight both the living and the dead. Looks like this tile will hit the shelves this fall just in time to play on our Halloween feelings.

Predator Day

In our first official look at Shane Black’s “explosive reinvention” of the franchise, Jacob Tremblay’s character messes around with some Predator technology, unintentionally piloting a Predator spaceship to certain doom here on Earth. From there, we catch up with a group of assassins, led by Boyd Holbrook, who go on a little hunt of their own. The Predator returns on September 14, 2018.

The Monster Squad team of Fred Dekker and Shane Black are back this year for another monster movie turning their attention to 20th Century Fox’s The Predator.

“From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”

Not sold on the trailer so far, what are your thoughts? It is good to see that Hollywood finally gets that Halloween is the holiday we look forward to more than Christmas 😏

Nothing is better than FREE

Here are my top five picks streaming for Free on Vudu right now! And remember signing up for Vudu is free.

The 1984 comedy Up The Creek staring  Tim Matheson, Jennifer Runyon, Stephen Furst.

Bob McGraw is in his 12th year of college, goofing his way through life. Bob the slacker, Irwin the alcoholic geek, Gonzer the human food disposal and Max the ne'er do well are the four losers forced and bribed to represent their university in an intercollegiate raft race., They make some friends like the lovely Heather Merriweather, but mostly enemies, among others a whole team of marines, and preppy IVY-leaguers determined to win.

I just might revisit this bad boy myself!

Oh man, let's stick to the 80's gold for just one moment, shall we? If you have not seen Caveman what are you waiting for? And now is the time its free for crying out loud.

Ringo Starr, Dennis Quaid, Shelley Long take a walk with the dinosaurs in 1981's Caveman!

When it comes to primitive instincts, this Neanderthal knows just how to make the bedrock. IMPACT elements of action include Giant Lizards, a Cave Shag, Ringo Starr and some Prehistoric Hotties.

Nothing gets you in to warm weather mode like a James Bond flick so why not stream Roger Moore's For Your Eyes Only?

After disposing of a familiar looking face, Bond is sent to recover a communication device, known as an ATAC, which went down with a British Spy ship as it sunk. Bond must hurry though, as the Russians are also out for this device. On his travels, he also meets Melina Havelock, whose parents were brutally murdered. Bond also encounters both Aristotle Kristatos and Milos Colombo. Each of them is accusing the other of having links with the Russians. Bond must team up with Melina, solve who the true ally is and find the ATAC before it's too late.

After a successful deployment of the Robocop Law Enforcement unit, OCP sees its goal of urban pacification come closer and closer, but as this develops, a new narcotic known as "Nuke" invades the streets led by God-delirious leader Cane. As this menace grows, it may prove to be too much for Murphy to handle. OCP tries to replicate the success of the first unit, but ends up with failed prototypes with suicidal issues... until Dr. Faxx, a scientist straying away from OCP's path, uses Cane as the new subject for the Robocop 2 project, a living God.
Some say part 2 is better than the first not sure how but I do remember working at the theatre for this bad boy. You know when the big summer movies came out in June not May? Heck, the summer season will start in April thanks to those Avengers.

About those Avengers why not check out Ultimate Avengers Rise of the Panther. This was really done well and worth the watch.

The mightiest of heroes the ultimate Avengers must continue their war against the same aliens they fought. This time, the aliens and Captain America's old enemy Herr Kleiser (the alien shapeshifter who supposedly died in 1945), are invading a hidden city in Africa, where the Black Panther is king. But when Kleiser murders the Black Panther's father T'Chaka, Black Panther travels to the U.S.A. to get advice from Captain America. The Avengers must travel to Africa, where a bloody war will be waged against the invading aliens.

So there you go the five movies I would say are worth streaming right now on Vudu. So grab some Gobbers and Popcorn head the comffy chair and relax a bit.

"You Better Work"(Out)

As always here in Illinois the weather goes from 33 degrees to 80 overnight. But that is fine with me it has been a long drawn out winter and its time to get outside! It also means we can get out and walk again!! This year we have been doing a pretty good job of exercising as a family. Of course to break out the monotony of looking at the same thing all the time you need music to drive you through the long walk. So what has been driving my ears to move my body lately? Here are a few for you to check out.

First up Bobaflex and School For Young Ladies, sure this is an old song but it really get's the blood pumping!

Next up the hard rocking Falling In Reverse Sexy Drug. No, I promise there is not a theme going on here. I just love how the song flow's keeping that fast pace beat that you need to keep move.

I'm so glad Blowing for Soup has not quite and best of all they went back to there roots for the new album Drunk Dynasty. I could listen to the whole album when I'm working out but some of it slow's down from time to time. On my current workout list, tho is She Used To Be Mine.

Last one for today Nathaniel Rateliff's gem that I just can not take off of my list and has been on for a while now... I Need Never Get Old.

Ok so I hope just maybe some of these tracks will get you moving. If not let me know in the comments below what does get your tail-waggin'? I'm always up for a new song.

Dirtier. Hairier.

Welp, I guess I should not be surprised that we will get yet another Wolf Cop movie. The upcoming Blu-ray release of Lowell Dean's action thriller will release on July 3rd. Starring Leo Fafard, Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry, Laura Abramsen, and Yannick Bisson.

This time around A year has passed since the dark eclipse transformed hard-drinking Officer Lou Garou into the infamous lycanthrope crime-fighter. Although the evil that controlled Woodhaven was defeated, the community is far from returning to normal. A villainous entrepreneur (Yannick Bisson) is looking to open a new brewery and revive the local hockey team, but it's clear he has ulterior motives. With a new mayor (Kevin Smith) and the new chief of police (Amy Matysio), WolfCop has his work cut out for him when he has to save the town all over again.

Ok, wait a sec Kevin Smith is in this one so yeah I will give it a shot. Read up one part one here

It's Gonna Be May

And they get a star on the walk a fame today plus my wife will drop a few bucks on the website that is up or one week only. God Help ME~

The Eighth Wonder Of The World

Andre The Giant
2018| Color | 1 Hr 25 Min | Documentary | TV-14 | HBO

Director: Jason Hehir

André the Giant

A look at the life and career of professional wrestler André Roussimoff, who gained notoriety in the 1980s as Andre the Giant.

André René Roussimoff was born in 1946 in Molien, France. In his early teens, he exhibited signs of gigantism though he was not diagnosed with acromegaly until his twenties. He began his training in Paris at 17 and eventually became known in wrestling circuits around the world. One of the first things I found interesting about this documentary was all the independent circuits there were around the world and the United States. It was cool to see how it all panned out and how Jim McMahon pulled them all together to form the WWE. I always knew that Andre and Hogan were a big reason for the success that kicked it off but never knew how it came to.

I have never been a huge wrestling fan but growing up in the 80's it was hard to miss. My best friend was a huge fan so I remember spending many hours watching with him. It was also a big thing at MDA summer camp so I had to keep up with the storylines just to understand what everybody was talking about. Of course, Andrea was one of my favorite wrestlers.

The doc paints a nice picture of his early life and how hard it was for him to travel. What most surprised me was how he just could not melt away meaning he could not hind like you and I he was going to be noticed no matter where he went. He had no peace and quiet. This also made for a lonely lifestyle.

This all wraps up with Wrestlemania 3 Hogan VS The Giant for the belt. This match will truly set the world on fire and really launch the WWE. What I did not know his how poor the health was for Andre. Also never realized how much this wrecked him emotionally.

As fun as the doc was it did make you appreciate the man a world fell in love with and is love for us. He may have been a giant but he was so loveable. Even if you did not or do not watch Wrestling this is still a nice little look on somebody's life even if it leaves you in tears.

Eebee is back for 777

Evil Bong 777
2018 | Color | 1 Hr  | Horror | R | Full Moon Empire

Director: Charles Band

Writers:
Charles Band
Brockton McKinney

Stars:
Sonny Carl Davis

Jessica Morris

EVIL BONG 777 leaves off where last year's EVIL BONG 666 left off. Our scowling weed-spewing Eebee is out of "Sexy Hell" and heading to Sin City with danger on her tail. She's joined by her whack pack of fabulous freaks: Faux Batty, Rabbit, Misty and The Gingerweed Man. Get ready for a tidal wave of smutty, skunky, surreal insanity as the gang gets into all manner of misadventures. Can Vegas handle this gaggle of ganja-fied weirdos?

It's 420 kids and you know what that means, yep its time for Uncle Charley to bring us another pothead bong movie! I know for me its like Halloween I just get so excited. This being the 8th flick overall they seem to grow in popularity every year. So does 777 hold up well light one up and grab the cheese curl's my friends and read on.

First thing I would like to clear the air about, I was surprised the lack of PR for this flick usually the Full Moon Camp is tweeting out teaser pictures and little tease in the newsletter but for this one, they kept it pretty tight-lipped. In fact, I almost forgot about it until last week when I realized it was coming soon.

From humble apartment and bowling alleys, Eebee has moved on to the Vegas Strip. Of course, Band gives us a nice look into sin city.  Somehow writer Brockton McKinney weaves up a nice story this time around for our heroes(?), as they escape to what has to be the cool's place in Vegas Versnachy's Fuppet Theater! When you get a movie with a giant Elvis puppet that has Sex with a stripper you know you're in for a good time! And that is only the beging of the crazyness.

The look and feel of this movie is on point and the use of different locations are fun we are no longer strapped to Eebee's magical weed storefront. The Artisan Hotel looks amazing and was a perfect backdrop to tell the tale. The place looks fun enough to look into a stay a while proved that we do not have to deal with pothead ghost. It has a nice creepy look that invites you in.

It is always fun to see returning cast members show up to fill in the backstory as well. From Circus-Szalewski, Michelle Mais, and Alan Maxon you never know what you will get even a cameo from Tanya Tate. What was nice to see this time around was no silly merchandise from Full Moon in the back round or how the story was built around. It was getting kind of stale, needless to say, it was nice not to have it in your face. We still get some of that but nothing that takes you out of the mood.

I know I have been kind of harsh on Robin in the past getting really annoying in these films but this time around she toned down her performance and played an annoying charter to a tee. I still love Robin and feel she is underappreciated in Hollywood and should be doing so much more. She is still one of the main reason's to watch any of the Evil Bong flicks.

But let's not forget Jessica Morris I fell for her in Haunted Casino but after The Dead Want Women I fell head over heels for this girl. She is so sweet and in 777 we get to see a darker version of her. It's nice to see her back and looking forward to her return in the 8th installment.

Also for Evil Bong 777 Tom Devlin again knocks it out of the park with his 1313FX which is the real deal. Plus we get a nice little sneak peek into his Las Vegas Musem along with two new puppets (See photo below). Not much new in the way of the soundtrack we do get a few new song's but none as memerable as Wicked Weed that will be running through my head all weekend.

Evil Bong has just the right running time at 58 minutes I have said once before with these films you get no filler BS but rather a perfect movie. Movies today needing to run an hour and a half fall apart trying to fill your attention with pointless junk that can ruin the film. Do not let the runtime fool you it never stop's being fun and when it does end it leaves you wanting just a bit more!

So what do you get with Evil Bong 777, well fill your pipe for some puppet sex, evil hell, and Vegas baby. 777 keeps the story going looks fantastic and is one hell of a fun ride!
