Halloween Streams!!

Oh, how I love to watch free movie's on my Roku, and thanks to Vudu and their free movie selection there is something for everyone to get into the Autumn spirit.

First up and this was a complete shock to me

That right the Sam Rami flick that started it all for me in the early days of VHS is streaming with adds for those of you that have not seen this gem yet! The story goes a little something like this, In 1979, a group of college students who, during a weekend getaway, find a Sumerian Book of the Dead in an old wilderness cabin they've rented. When they unwittingly unleash evil spirits and demons while reading incantations from the book, that's when the real havoc begins. As each of the kids, one by one, are possessed by the demons they've let loose, body parts and bodily fluids go a-flying until only one young man is left to face down THE EVIL DEAD.

Next up Harry Potter sort of...

Now I have not seen this yet but it has crept closer to the top of my long list of must-see movies.
Blamed for the murder of his girlfriend, Ignatius Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe) awakens one morning to find he's grown a pair of horns. Armed with new supernatural powers, he sets out to find the true killer.

YouTube Killed the Video Star...

YouTuber Fred is back in this Halloween Special for Nickelodeon. So gather the family pop the corn and well prepare to be annoyed. Fred Figglehorn (Lucas Cruikshank), is back in an all-new movie adventure, and his life has gone from kooky to spooky. Fred's beloved music teacher, Mrs. Felson, has mysteriously disappeared, and Fred is convinced that her replacement, Mr. Devlin, has a secret life - as a vampire! And to make matters worse, Mr. Devlin is dating Fred's mom! Look its not Ernest Scared Stupid but it will do.

Ok, I seriously have not clue what this is, do you? If so let us know if it is worth diving into.
This film may take place on Halloween, but it has nothing to do with horror movies and everything to do with that moment everyone has when they realize life marches forward and they're the youngest they'll ever be. This isn't an indie drama about a boy becoming a man, it's a comedy about Tony Phillips, a guy who doesn't think childhood passions should have an expiration date. I really might check this one out soon.

I don't know about you but I'm ready for the cooler weather rustling of the leaves and of course movies and tv specials about our favorite holiday.

  1. Daniel Radcliffe has made some interesting film choices since the end of the Harry Potter franchise.

    1. He sure has but in a way good for him to break free of the Harry Potter label.
