So many people are worried about the cold my kids and I say bring it on!!! In Illinois, we are celebrating Svengoolie/Rich Koz day. To me, that is great fun and a well deserved day for him. I thank everybody that has stopped by I sure have a blast doing this every year and hope that you will follow me as I gear up for Creepmas that is around the corner. Happy Halloween my friends have a safe and wonderful day! |
It's going to be a Frozen Halloween.
What a wonderful month this as been. The weather has been perfect the fall colors unbelievable. Here is a look back at some of the things we did to celebrate the season. First up a few things that I found at the Burgoo in downtown Utica.
I just love this wish it was for sale.
So the artist that made this carried it into a theatre just to have Robert Engled sign it. It's very cool this picture does it no justice.
I was shocked when my wife said I could take this home! Kind of wish I did. Next up our first Trick or Treating came in the form of a private block party.
Then this past weekend was the Pumpkin Patch and Trick or Treating downtown LaSalle. What a great day, perfect weather at 70 degrees.
And nothing like a surprise treat in your lunch bag all week
So tomorrow brings Trunk or Treat at school. A Halloween Party and of course bundling up for the coldest Halloween my kids have witnessed so far for trick or treating.

I know another "found footage" movie right? Right but... somehow this one is different. When you talk about found footage we all think Blair Witch and how it makes you sick watching it. Well it's all that motion sickness you get from watching the jerky camera. Reel Evil finds fun and clever ways to address this issue. Sure they have the shaking going on but in a very minimal way. When you have a strong plot and a good cast a movie like this is easy to watch.
Sure its a bit of a slow burn but once they break off into the asylum it gets going pretty good. The eerie atmosphere draws you in and keeps you guessing all the way through. Danny Draven shines with this movie. Everything works the sound, editing and cast are all perfect and fit in well. It has noting new to offer but is every much worth your time this Halloween season.
If your your into ghost's and things that bump in the night this movie is for you!
